Cruel jokes, destroyed school lockers, tear dried face every evening
Forgive them

Being yourself, it’s different from others, take the ridicule every hour
Forgive them

Young courtship, shows every day how you are a bother, fix yourself stop being you
Forgive them

A wedding that leads to smothering hands across your mouth, be quiet an uncomfortable honeymoon
Forgive them

Goose bump heads, Screams and shouts, get the smarts, stop acting dumb
Forgive them

A face yelling at your young child, an inch from their face, held in place, forceful touch
Forgive them

Tossed across the floor, putting you in your place, broken door jams, broken home
Forgive them

4 months pregnant dragged across the floor, punished for carrying a child
Forgive them

Police come to the door, it’s a type of alone that has never been never felt before
Forgive them

Rumours that the seed within is not of marriage born, eyes of judgement like swords
Forgive them

Young mistresses immature and forlorn, ignorance is bliss to them, youthful witlessness
Forgive them

No one spreads the truth, lies have less viscosity
Forgive them

Young baby, young children, constant working, it’s a tiredness that is true
Forgive them

Constant door bells ringing, windows knocking, phones ringing, it never has an ending
Forgive them

Lawyers breed ignorance, justice that lurks somewhere else
Forgive them

Lies told more than once, make others feel more comfortable than truth
Forgive them

Police that come and take the youngest, just for a couple hours, so the beast can eat
Forgive them

An innocent returns, shaking, crying, fear, “Was that best?” innocence has left
Forgive them

A Justice system that feeds on money, pain and destruction, a life savings is gone
Forgive them

A new job brings new hope in a form of a kind good person, eyes of judgement come again
Forgive them

A cancer eats away inside of me, no treatment have the surgery and then move on
Forgive them

A second opinion was to be, a year of treatment,radiation that is what saved a life
Forgive them

Supporting the voice of the underdog, the unheard, something others couldn’t do, has a price
Forgive them

A new job brings hope and happiness it feels absurd, performance first rate, last one in, first one out
Forgive them

“Good luck with that”, “You’re too positive, it must be fake?”, words that ring, cause my head to ache
Forgive them

A job so perfect, so first rate, now its gone, it and I was NEVER fake.
Forgive them

University for two, a young one still in elementary, trying hard to find a job, failure clouds are choking.
Forgive them

Searching for direction, what is next to be? Bills are mounting, but no one is shouting, and I am me.

for they know not, what they have done.

Forgiveness is an icky journey. Forgive them, is something to occur over & over again in life. It’s messy that’s Easter. Thank you for reading and sharing my Easter with me. Be safe, forgive and keep going…..I am.
